Temperature topped out at 77 degrees for a daily high. Mostly cloudy with a few light drizzles. Humidity was around 77% with winds out of the N to NE at 6-9 mph. Observation time was from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. Temperature at observation time 67 degrees with expectations of an overnight low of 59 degrees. Three adult female individuals sighted, Two were seen at 7pm as a multi perch feeder guarding female chased off another slender female and later my favorite small but very plump female hit upon a single perchless feeder at 7:14pm. Little remains of preferred hummer blooms beyond some nemorosa salvia and Mexican sunflowers (Tithonia rotundiflora). After tomorrow's high of 72 degrees up coming temperature forecasts are to drop off to highs of low 60 degrees and overnight lows in the mid 40's for at least the next seven days. I'll be watching for any early morning hummers tomorrow morning as this could be my last evening observation of hummers this 2019 season.
