While I was cutting grass in the 95 degree heat at 2:15 yesterday, one beautiful monarch floated over my head. It never stopped but was heading southwest. We are having record-breaking heat (98 degrees today - an all-time record for the month of October) and I am sure this is stressing those that are coming through. I have worked so hard to keep my flowers going - asters are coming on, cosmos are fading, butterfly bushes are stressed, but they are hanging on for now with watering. Godspeed!
