12 fresh monarchs today feeding feverishly, the most I’ve seen all season! They preferred the Mexican sunflowers to butterfly bushes and zinnias. A beautiful mostly sunny day in the mid-80s with gentle winds from the NW. The rain and a cold front moved In at 6:15 PM.
