Emerald Isle must be one of the main thoroughfares for the migrating monarchs. While vacationing the week of 9/21-9/27 we saw countless butterflies in flight. The island runs west to east and the butterflies were flying in a constant easterly stream. Such a lovely sight to behold while sitting on the front porch drinking our morning coffee!
