Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/02/2019

Number: 3

The migration through the Conroe area about 50 miles north of Houston is apparently over. In the past few days we have seen just a few ruby-throats, which may include a pair that generally winter over in this area. We also saw a single Rufous male amongst the ruby-throats.

A week ago, we had dozens of humming birds frequenting our four feeders and nectaring from flowers in our yard.
