We have had very few monarchs at the same time this summer. Previously the most we had on one day was 4. I took a picture of two at the same time with a Painted Lady in the picture too today, but it was difficult to see the butterflies, so I chose to put the picture of a single butterfly. They are more cooperative with sitting with their wings open more often. It was 39 degrees F this morning as our low, and was 65 degrees F when I was taking the pictures. They are still enjoying the zinnias. Our zinnias have grown so tall due to all the rain, that it has made it more difficult to get good pictures of them to share.
