One adult monarch is pictured in flight. Although there were plenty of red admirals and painted ladies, monarchs seemed to be infrequent sightings during my visits to Lurie at this time (late June 2019).

The weather was partly cloudy with temperatures (H/L) at 86/79F and humidity at 65%. Winds were from SSW at 7 mph.
