I am posting this on 10-4 for observations between 10-1 and 10-4. On 10-1, our yard was hopping with adult Monarchs nectaring from the Mexican Sunflowers, the Butterfly bush and the Lantanas. (I shot over 5,000 pictures!). Between the front and the back yards, we had more than 25 Monarchs. The high that day was in the 90s. Today (10-4) I observed a mere two, with the high only in the low 70s, and a strong NW wind kicking.
