Two adult monarchs are pictured mid-flight, they are attached, presumably a mated pair. They had previously been on the tree, then flew off, then landed back on the tree.

During this visit, another mating pair was spotted. A total of about 5-6 monarchs were spotted in the park on this visit. Additional butterflies included red admirals and question marks.

Weather conditions at this hour were broken clouds with temperatures (H/L) 79/72F and humidity at 81%. Winds were from the E at 7 mph.
