Apologies for the poor quality, but this single adult monarch was spotted high up in a tree. No other monarchs were spotted in the park during my visit. Plenty of red admirals were flying about.

(During this visit, shortly after taking this photo, I was dive-bombed by an aggressive red-wing blackbird.)

Weather conditions at the time were sunny (felt sweltering), with temperatures (H/L) 86/75F, humidity at 74% and winds from SW at 7.5 mph.
