Pictured: 1 adult male monarch butterfly basking.

Not pictured but seen: another monarch adult basking nearby plus 6-10 adult monarchs -- all nectaring. Plentiful quantities of painted ladies and 2-3 black swallowtails. Cabbage whites and clouded sulphurs were also seen.

Weather: (H/L) 64/59F. Humidity 62%. Winds from S at 9 mph.
