There were three monarchs on Verbena bonariensis in a public pollinator garden east of Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. They were nectaring close to each other, while surrounded by a much larger number of Painted Lady butterflies. Temperatures were around 60, with sun and light clouds, and winds from the WNW gusting to what looked like 15 or 20 mph. There were no tags on the monarchs.
