Have had 5 to 6 inches of rain over the last several days and I thought the migration would be done but today the sun came out, temps in the 50's and maybe into the low 60's. The wind was strong from the west - north west and they were still here. A real frenzy of painted ladies and monarchs nectaring on the zinnias and marigolds. Hard to count precisely but there were at least 15 monarch at any one time for the better part of the afternoon until the flowers were shaded by the afternoon shadows.
