I saw a couple of painted lady butterflies nectaring on butterfly bushes in the far backyard garden so I went to the front backyard where I have a larger butterfly bush to see if the was any action. I found a painted lady there and also this male monarch. Mostly sunny, 69°F, wind 8 mph.
