I was walking around the neighborhood and saw a lone Monarch on the neighbors asters along with a lot of painted ladies and a yellow sulfur. When i returned to my yard the male monarch I had seen earlier was still on the blanket flower in my front garden. He worked on those flowers until about 3:50 pm and then he was up and away in a Southerly direction. It is still 66 degrees with winds a 7 MPH, SW at 6:08 pm.
