Second observation of the day during PM hours of 5:15pm to 7:15pm. Temperature reached a high of 69 degrees a couple of very light showers with cloudy conditions all day. Winds were out of the WNW 6-9mph occasional gusts up to 25mph. At 5:25pm observed most likely a migrating adult female. She drank a long time and rested on the feeder perch several minutes before departing due southward. No further sightings of her. At 6pm one very plump female adult resembling our last seasonal resident appeared at the feeder then rested on the Sheppard hook hanger making multiple trips from feeder to dense evergreen hedge nearby. She returned three more times, the last trip being 7:12pm. By hen temps were 60 degrees and overnight lows were expected to be close to 45 degrees.
