Monarch Waystation #299 aka Virginia Living Museum reports @8:45 am a volunteer sighted a male monarch either nectaring on a Late-blooming Boneset [Eupatorium serontinum] in the Conservation Garden growing along the path by the large double gate to the traffic circle. Once approached the male flew off towards the gate into brush and out of sight.
