From noon until at least 5 today, I had monarchs visiting my garden. Today was quite warm - in the 80's - with little breeze and both sunshine and cloudy skies. I am not sure if these are the same butterflies that were here in my garden yesterday (plus one). They nectared on butterfly bushes, sunflowers, Georgia asters, mist flower, and cosmos and stayed all day. This area has had an extended period without any rain as well as extreme heat and the flowering plants are quite limited.
