We released two adults 4 weeks ago. We had about 7 caterpillars and brought 3 inside after the others were eaten. One died from parasite. A few weeks ago there were more roosting on the trees around suppertime. A straggler or two this week. Saw about 5 or 6 on a zinnia patch Saturday when it got cooler. Flowers are becoming more scarce as summer ends. We live off I70. My husband sees them daily on his commute to Columbia crossing the interstate heading S/SW. They are truly magnificent. Crossing the interstate is catastrophic for them. We are going to make a monarch station with our spare acre in town year. God bless the Monarchs and the work you do for them
