While traveling today, we saw two monarchs at Tallulah Gorge State Park - one at 2:22 and one at 2:35. The first one was flying SW; the second was nectaring on asters and then flew off. It was 72 degrees, sunny, with little or no breeze.
The third monarch was spotted flying on a side road near Rabun County High School, Clayton, GA. 74 degrees at 3:52 p.m.
The fourth was spotted on Tallulah River Road ( a forest service road) at 4:21 and 66 degrees. It was flying south along the road at the time.
