I was curious if any stray monarchs would be nectaring in the clover patch midday today, with 40 degree high temperature, 19 mph west wind, after rains yesterday. None at all are left. None sheltering in the trees around the clover patch either. Hope all made it far enough south to escape this cold front! I first photographed monarchs here on Aug. 25, and the last ones on Oct. 8th. It's been an awesome experience to observe this amazing resurgence this year.
