Evening Monarchs at the Tip at Point Pelee National Park
4:15-6:30.
22°c Moderate Easterly wind changed to SE & forecast overnight to change to strong west wind & drop in temps overnight to 7°c with a daytime high 10/12 of 10°c.
The strong West wind will stall any arrivals for 2 or 3 days.
Observe individually all monarchs arrive on west side of the Tip & retreat to interior of trees. Observed one arrive to Hackberry branch cascading over west path. Monarch proceeded to extend proboscis & drink from moisture on leaf.
Plenty of Asters still throughout park & a bit of Goldenrod & Knapweed blossoms.
No clusters located.

Most apoeared pristine but did notice one with mildly folded wings & another with a lower deformed partial wing.
