I've seen sporadic numbers of them throughout the week and was concerned about the below-freezing temps of the previous night but they showed up today to feed from the milkweed and orange cosmos in my yard. Again, primarily females, large in size, and none tagged.
As a side note, I had to rear what I could indoors earlier this year. The tachinid flies were killing every caterpillar that hosted on my plants- nearly 2 dozen perished.
