Found this gorgeous female Monarch, along with two others (also both females), in the "meadow" section of Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. It was late in the afternoon. and she was flying between 'clouds' of frost aster, alternately drinking and resting (during which time she kept her wings open, lucky me)!!
