I saw one Monarch struggling to make headway against a stiff wind in the early afternoon.
Also saw lots of smaller butterflies today drinking nectar in the warm sun; yellow, white, orange and brown butterflies on flowers - there are still asters, goldenrod, black eyed susans still blooming in east central Illinois.
