Captured catepillar larvae on 9/23/2019. Watched it cement itself to the top of our clear box and form the "J" shape. Next day it was a green chyrsalis with gold dots on it about 7/8 " long. Then we waited about 10 days. Oct 14, 2019 it emerged over the weekend into a beautiful Monarch butterfly. We released it this morning and watched it fly away.
