A cooler sunny day with temps in the low 60's and a light southernly wind. I spotted 68 monarchs from 1:30 to 6 pm. The monarchs again were feeding on golden rod well into 6 pm. The golden rod is starting to brown and dry out. Rain has been sparing in the past two weeks with no rain predicted until Wednesday or Thursday.
