A little after 1 p.m. this afternoon, I spotted three monarchs nectaring on my butterfly bushes and sunflowers. There was a very light mist and a bit of a breeze. They stayed for at least 30 minutes before a bit more rain began to fall. Temperatures were mild today, probably in the 70's.

At 4 this afternoon I saw one monarch. Not sure if it was one of the ones that I had seen earlier.
