Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/14/2019

Number: 8

Last evening of the official counts. I will continue to occasionally check til end of Oct.
At the Tip 6-6:30 pm
17c Cloudy with west wind at 37-38 kmh
After 2 days of extremely strong winds (12th-14th) & not seeing Monarchs anywhere in the park or outside area finally saw these 8 flitting about on the calmer east side. One was roosting on Hackberry & the others just flitting. A few ventured east out over the lake testing the wind & then returned to the tree line.
