At 10:30 this morning I saw two monarchs (and one hummingbird :-) nectaring in my garden. It was about 65 degrees and breezy after a night of slow and much needed rain.
At 11:05 I spotted a monarch in the parking lot of a nearby WalMart. It was flying toward the SW. 65 degrees and quite breezy with sun coming out.
At 1:52 and again at 4 p.m. I spotted one monarch on my butterfly bushes. I was not able to determine if it was one of the same ones from the morning so did not add to my count. The afternoon was quite breezy and sunny.
