We just sat down to supper at about 6:15 pm and I glanced out the window. A female hummingbird had just arrived and was drinking furiously at the feeder. After a long drink, it flew into a nearby shrub, then returned for another drink about 15 minutes later before darkness settled in. 50 degrees clear and calm. I'm thinking it will spend the night here before traveling on.
