I came back from vacation up in Salida, Colorado and was happy to see I did not miss the garden, mexican/orange zinnias feeding 5 big Monarchs today. I have planted these zinnias every year for the last ten years and every year is a wonderful experience. I plan to buy milkweed young starts (I tried seeding this year, but did not get a plant). No matter what, I just love this time of year and watching them feed on their way to Mexico.
