It was quite a surprise on a very windy day to see two juvenile hummingbirds this late in October. The first sighting was at 11 am & the second sighting was at 4:30 pm. They were not the same bird as the first was slightly larger & darker in neck color than the second. Attached is a photo of the 2nd hummingbird. Both birds stayed less than 30 seconds at the feeder. Only the first bird went to nearby Lantana flowers. The winds were SSW18 mph with higher gusts at times and the temp was about 61.
