Sightings report image

Date: 10/22/2019

Number: 1

This little lady is on the left flower. I had noticed her a few days ago, and so I put up the feeder.
It’s very cold here, with 35mph gusts from the south, so she’s stuck.
She’s been here now for two days, resting and preening in the honeysuckle leaves and continually sipping. I’m grateful to provide this.
The winds turn to the north tomorrow night, so I hope she’ll be able to make her way south.
This whole summer has been 3-4 weeks late!
