Imagine my surprise when cleaning out my monarch way station when I discovered two, instar 3 monarch caterpillars. Fortunately, I have numerous pots of young milkweed that I've been growing so I put the larva inside a pop up container and placed them into my indoor greenhouse. They're doing very well being spoiled and I'm hoping for warm weather so I can tag and release them. Updates to follow. :)
