At the Tip at Point Pelee National Park 11:30-1:00 pm
16°c High of 16° Low 6°c
Mostly sunny with very strong SW winds @ 29/40 kmh & increasing at 6 pm to 39/55 kmh.
High winds Wed 23rd as well stalling their migration to possibly Thursday 24th when afternoon winds decrease & change to NW or for sure Friday when winds are light & northerly.

All Monarchs observed were flitting about the calmer sunny & warm east side of the Tip. Individuals here & there on Hackberry, grapevine or bare branches basked in the sun. About 6 tested the wind on the east side but a ways out over the lake encountered strong wind & returned to tree line.
All in pics taken had plump abdomen. All pristine.
