A surprise sighting! I was near our window at noon today & some movement near the few remaining salvia flowers caught my eye. I then saw a hummingbird fly from the flowers up to the nearby feeder (with fresh syrup), hover & leave without drinking from the feeder. It flew away in the direction of southwest. It was so quick I had no time to take a photo. Guessing this was a quick refueling stop as it did not return.
