Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/18/2019

Number: 1

My 3rd and very last "final" monarch was spotted in the afternoon at InterState Park, St. Croix Falls, WI.
The temps were near 60, wind from the south, good sun.
I suspect my last butterflies will not make it to Mexico, but it amazes me every year to see how late the last generation can be. Our normal frost date here is about Oct 1, so chances aren't good for our late ones.
Still, I always have hope : )
'bye til next year
