Count is approximate. They have been consistently flying by this location all morning.

The number reported is conservative. I live on the second floor of a condominium building overlooking Corpus Christi Bay. All morning there was a steady stream of monarchs flying by, within a few feet of my balcony and between 12' to 20' above the ground. The numbers lessened in the afternoon, but there were still frequent sightings.

Again on Sunday morning, I saw at least a dozen more.
