We first saw this soaking wet hummingbird about 2:30 this afternoon. It was nectaring at the remaining salvia flowers in the rain. It then flew up to the feeder which has a protective dome. It’s been raining all afternoon, temp was 46 at the time & wind was from the N 13 mph. This sighting is now the latest date we have had a hummingbird. Our previous record was Oct 22.
