I "had" to share this beautiful photo!! There actually IS a Monarch in it, in the lower right-hand corner. It just so happens that in early August, when the Eastern Tiger Swallowtails are peaking (in this neck-of-the-woods), the Monarchs are finally on the move through, and can often be seen 'sharing' common milkweed with other butterfly species. This was taken at the Big Meadows Visitor Center, in their pollinator garden...I'll say!!!
