An adult male Monarch with white tag on right wing was photographed nectaring on Tithonia flowers in my waystation. Unfortunately, we could not identify the tag number but surmise it was one of the Washington State University tagging program tags, due to the white color, and perhaps from Brookings, Oregon where there was a great number of Monarchs tagged and released due to egg dumping. Brookings is 94 miles from McKinleyville. Both towns are on the Pacific Coast
