A beautiful adult bald eagle was standing on a fallen log in the middle of the creek. It looked as though it was searching for fish. By the time we turned the car around and came back for a second look, it was flying away. This was at approximately 4:30pm on October 29th in the Snowflake community near Gate City, Virginia.
