3 of 4 were attempting to cross lake but headwinds from SW were too strong. By flying up , the faster winds above blew adult back to shore. Then adult would fly through tree canopy and try again.
The fourth was basking on canopy until the advancing high cloud stole the infrared. Clouds moved in soon afterwards, and wit the advancing rainy weather, these adults may be fixed here for the next four days unless they follow the shorline to the NW and then west.
