There are so many robins in my backyard right now. They have been gathering all day, and just a few minutes ago, the sky was greyed over with them. It makes me sad that they are going away for a while.

The estimate of 500 is based on what I saw on the ground and what I saw in the trees and flying above. 500 is probably conservative.
