We found a monarch laying on the ground on October 14th. It was around 45 degrees and couldn't fly. We kept him inside with some honey water. He was my only wild caught tagged butterfly. The temp. was above 60 so I let him go. He flew straight up, so fast and with so much excitement. I was excited to spot another monarch while driving around town that day.
