I first spotted this immature Ruby-throated Hummingbird in my yard on October 29th. It has been here several times a day, and last spotted late this morning (November 1st) as I was moving feeders and plants back outside after last night's freeze warning. I have only observed it feeding on blooms. I'm hoping that it's now heading south, with overnight lows forecasted below freezing for the next several days.
