Immature Ruby-throated Hummingbird feeding on the blooms of leonotis leonurus 'Lion's Ear'. I also observed it feeding on the blooms of cuphea 'David Verity', salvia leucantha, and salvia 'Waverly'. It does appear to have some damage to the tips of its wings, so it's possible that may be part of the reason for it's late season appearance in my yard in southwest Ohio.
