Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/28/2019

Number: 10

Our class went on a field trip to the Botanical Gardens to observe the Monarch migration. We saw 28-30 total this morning between all three classes. We saw them drinking nectar, flying around, and flapping their tiny wings. They were trying to find more flowers to get more nectar. We noticed they were attracted to the more colorful plants. We also saw them use their antennae when they landed on a flower.
