entered the saw mill river parkway south at 7:20 am,maybe a 1/2 mile on the right hand side I saw something white in the distance,as I got closer I observed an eagle standing on a dead deer in the grass.driving by the deer looked intact,so I would guess with that much food available the eagle will return.it would be a great opportunity if someone wanted to observe with a trail cam.
